Class Description

A 4-hour course providing instruction on basic skills, proficiency and the mindset required to confidently operate a shotgun in an urban life-threatening situation. Defensive Shotgun I is geared toward the student with some shotgun experience. The student will develop skills to increase speed, accuracy, and confidence. The class begins with a hands-on classroom session on the range followed by shooting drills designed to reinforce technique and proficiency. Topics: Use of Force, Loading/Unloading, Ready Positions, Stance, Speed Shooting, Recoil Control, and Shot Placement.

Required Materials

125 rounds of birdshot and 20 rounds of buckshot are required
15 Slug rounds are required

Mon - Fri: 9:00 a.m. - Dusk
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - Dusk
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - Dusk
