NCCSC is a private facility for members only. We are currently accepting new members and welcome all interested shooters and sportsmen that have a NCCSC Sponsor. We offer a family friendly environment with numerous activities for all ages.

Our membership year runs from August 1st to July 31st. Open enrollment for new members begins August 1st, and current member renewals run from May 1st to July 31st. NCCSC offers a single membership option for an Individual/Family (husband, wife, and children under 18 residing at the same address). Fees for new members are a $100 one-time application fee, and an annual $125 membership fee. There is a $50 renewal discount available for volunteering at Work Days and other club events.

All new prospective members who have met their requirements are presented to the membership at monthly business meetings and their acceptance is based on a vote of members present. Meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30PM and prospective members must arrive by 7:00PM.

Membership Requirements:

To become a Club member, you must have a Sponsor and complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the NCCSC online membership application. This application contains NCCSC’s Hold Harmless Agreement which all applicants and members must agree to. Once your application is completed you will receive an email with your NCCSC web site account details.
  2. All applicants must be current members of the National Rifle Association. NCCSC is also an official recruiter for the NRA. If you are not currently an NRA member please use the banner on the right to join or renew your NRA membership at a discount while earning our club a commission.
  3. All applicants MUST attend a mandatory range safety orientation class that runs approximately 2.5 hours. Invitations to the classes will be sent out to new applicants via email, noting the time and day and additional requirements to complete the new member process. Once accepted into membership, all members are encouraged to participate in at least one Work Day event (3rd Saturday of each month except December) and/or one Club Event (check the Club calendar) each year. As we are an all-volunteer club, greater frequency is appreciated.
All members and their guests are also required to abide by all posted safety signage and other verbal safety instructions, and to notify the Club, in advance, if there is any reason they might not be able to read, hear, or understand those signs or instructions.
  4. Be aware that payment does NOT guarantee membership.  If paying by credit card online, please do not pay until your seat is reserved for orientation class.  Provide payment of the application fee and annual dues. Payment may be provided in person via check or cash at your orientation or online via credit card anytime. To pay online, log into your NCCSC account and follow the steps provided. Note: Checks returned to NCCSC for insufficient funds will be charged a $25 service fee.

All membership applications will be held as Pending until your prerequisites are met and full payment has been received. At the next scheduled Membership Meeting you will be voted upon by the membership at which time you will receive your gate card and access to the club ranges.

If you have any questions, please contact the Membership Secretary.

Membership Application (On-Line):

Application for membership and payment of dues are available online. After reading the requirements here and below, complete the application form by clicking on the “Apply Online” link at the bottom of this page. Applying online requires your membership application be sponsored by a current NCCSC member in good standing and we will ask for you to provide the sponsor’s contact information. Please do not complete an on-line form without the Sponsor’s full contact information or it will be immediately rejected.

Note: If you do not have access to a computer to register online please call or stop by the club during a public event and a member will assist you with completing the online application at the clubhouse.

In completing the online application, complete all requested information. Be sure to first read the Range Rules, Range Etiquette (see web menus) and the Hold Harmless Agreement. The last question on the application requests your acknowledgement and understanding of these policies and agreement with the Hold Harmless statement. If you have applied for NRA membership and do not yet have your membership card, enter “pending” in the space provided; however, you will be required to provide this information prior to your application being presented to the membership for a vote.

Upon receipt, your online application will be reviewed by the Membership Secretary, your sponsor contacted for their recommendation, and your application placed in the queue for orientation and presentation to the membership at a subsequent Membership Meeting.

How do I find a sponsor?

If you don’t know an existing member the best way to meet some of them is to come out to one of our many public shoots. We offer a monthly balloon shoot, weekly indoor pistol shoots in the colder months, and weekly trap shoots in the warmer months. Another great way to meet members is to attend one of the many training classes held at the club. You can brush up on your skills and meet new people at the same time.

You never know, you may even run into someone you already know… To find public events and training classes take a look at the Club Calendar.

Please contact a club officer for any additional details or questions.
