NCCSC Annual Youth Shoot
Since our inaugural event in 2010, NCCSC has conducted our Annual Youth Shoot, open to members, guests, and the general public. It has become an excellent family oriented day introducing youth in three age divisions to the shooting sports in a mildly competitive environment.
Ages 8 yrs and under will shoot a BB Gun, Ages 12 yrs and under will shoot a Pellet Gun, and shooters 16 yrs and under shoot a 22 caliber rifle. All shooters compete for best score in two rounds, winning medals for 1st through 3rd place, with the first place shooter also winning the respective firearm they shoot (22 cal division wins a gift certificate allowing the parents to purchase a similar rifle.) The event concludes with an awards ceremony and lunch provided for all contestants.
This is a completely free event, with no registration fees or event costs for the firearms used or ammunition consumed. Instruction is provided by club members making this event perfect for first time shooters.
Registration information for the current year’s event is provided on the next page. We ask that all parents download and print the registration form provided, complete it and bring to the event. No pre-registration is required.
